Abstract Innovations of tourism industry of Henan Province in the 21st century is requirements of Know ledge Economy and the requirements of "Entering WTO" and "Entering New Age of Tourism" and the present situations of tourism industry of Henan. The innovation is very important in the development of tourism. The innovations of tourism industry include the ideas and making a strategic decision, the exploiting tourism resources and the functions of government management and so on.
